Flying HOME

For many pets in Southern California there are no homes available and the love and caress of Bob DeLong and his wife Barbara and volunteers helped to fly over 400+ shelter dogs to other states such as Oregon, Washington, Montana and Idaho.  More than 120 rescue groups were involved and with their kindness and love and caring these dogs will be saved.

Many of these dogs were in shelters and slated to die and were saved in what is called the 11th hour to give them another chance.
New families, new loves, new treats and new homes.  What a wonderful Christmas it will be!

Airport banners read "Flying Home" affectionately.....  ♥

Wings of Rescue is not a new organization, it has been doing this good work for years and without the dedication and love by a pilot who loves both flying and dogs it would not be possible to give these pooches new lives.
