I want to take a moment and acknowledge the losses and look towards what tomorrow will bring without forgetting about two Corgi 8 year old brother boys Guss and Woodrow who perished after the new year; they were born and raised together and lived together and ultimately crossed the bridge together...their mama is so very sad.
Paige, the creator and owner and pure corgi lover at Corgi Pals lost her father tragically and we are sending nothing but good thoughts to her.
Two Corgis, Tegan and Tucker, one from California and one from Texas have been missing since New Year's eve and as the time moves forward their families hope and pray for them to be found. We keep praying and keep tweeting that they are both found safe.
Two other pups were with their mom and dad and there was another car accident in CA on Christmas Day and sadly mom suffered serious injuries that took her life, dad is hospitalized and only one of the pups who is a corgi named Tessi has been found.....BUT the other pup, Graci a chihuahua is still missing.
With the new year comes new worries, sorry to be so somber this Sepia Saturday everyone....our heart seems to be in another place today.
We are posting an "old" photo but one that is dear to mom's heart.....the 'last' photo of her and her best friend at the winery and she is missing her 'girl' that passed away a few years ago.
Today is a somber day on Jozi the Corgi's blog while mom copes with the current losses, the missing and reminisces about the past with her 'girl'.
Peace, Love, Barks and Treats Forever,
Cat
We are hoping with ALL PAWS CROSSED that Graci, Tegan and Tucker find their way home soon....
I'm so sorry that your year started off with so many losses. I hope the lost pups find their way back to their owners. It is never easy to lose someone important in your life, family is family, love is love, and loss is loss. It always hurts. I hope your tomorrows will be brighter.

ReplyDeleteNo need to be sorry for feeling somber/sad. It happens to the best of us, especially when we care about others. Let's hope all who are lost, find their way home. I love your photo collage.
